This is the official website of Ric Richardson, an aspiring author. Designed,
written and managed by Ric, the site aims to take a unique approach as a
creative venue where I, the aspiring author, can expand on my copywritten
ideas and stories, thoughts flowing from the imagination of a lover of science-fiction.
The site delves into the stories utilizing three overarching approaches.
- Edge© is intended to be a web serial with original content published for access via the site free of charge. "Edge" is a character that I was inspired to create and felt that there were many adventures the character could experience while discovering that though life may throw you curve balls often, it's worthwhile to just work with what you have, learn as much as you can, and find the good in the atypical life challenges.
- The Psych© - As an aspiring author, I have published my first novel for sale and download via e-reader devices. It is my intention to provide a unique view into the characters and places created in that novel by providing additional content that may enrich the story further while at the same time, provide the reader with samples of my writing styles and the types of situations I've created. In this section of the site, I have not only expanded the novel through the use of back-stories of it's characters, but I have also utilized several areas of content that were cut from the book simply to keep the size down.
- While the site is primarily devoted to my imagination, what good would a site about an aspiring author be without a little background on the authors life and loves.

About the "Edge©" pages of this site
Edge is a work of fiction, a story told in multiple installments to be released over time depicting the adventures in the far reaches of the galaxy of a man abducted from Earth who has had his memories of his former life stripped away from him. With no specific recollections other than occasional visions, he is faced with multiple life-threatening challenges in worlds completely foreign to him with only the instinctive human will to survive aiding him, along with some allies he manages to collect along the way. With a unique view into alien abduction, Edge takes a different approach to the "it gets better" campaign with the reality of it may get worst, but its worth it to keep on trucking. You never know what will be waiting on the other side of the challenges.
As in all works of fiction, any similarities to persons alive or dead is purely coincidental. All names used within the site with the exception of the author; Ric Richardson are fictional. The Edge stories are meant only to entertain and to perhaps energize. That being said, welcome to the many worlds of Edge.
